Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the store and provide exceptional customer service. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
Duties:
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising store staff
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is available
- Oversee cash register operations and handle customer transactions
- Implement sales strategies to achieve store targets and increase revenue
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the store
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for store employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail management role preferred
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and retail math
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Proficient in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems
- Familiarity with budgeting, payroll, and inventory management processes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
